Andrey, a single divorced man, comes across his ex-girlfriend Eugenia who married his friend. She invites Andrey to her Birthday party after which her husband suddenly disappears and it turns out that Eugenia has to assume his debts. The complete forfeiture of property and confinement is hovering over her. Unwittingly Andrey becomes in touch with the current situation and suddenly understands that he still loves Eugenia and should stand up for her. People against whom he will struggle are very dangerous. Trying to outplay them is as good as pulling devil’s tail…
